Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the UseCaller service and supplements our Terms of Service. By using UseCaller, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Service Description
UseCaller is a browser-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) platform powered by Twilio that enables users to make legitimate international and domestic phone calls. The service operates on a prepaid credit system and is intended for personal and business communication purposes.
Permitted Uses
UseCaller is designed for lawful communication, including but not limited to:
- Personal calls to family, friends, and contacts abroad
- Business communications with clients, partners, and colleagues
- Staying connected while traveling or living overseas
- Making calls for professional purposes such as interviews, consultations, and customer support
- Any other lawful communication purpose consistent with applicable regulations
Prohibited Uses
You may not use UseCaller for any of the following activities:
Illegal and Harmful Activity
- Making threatening, harassing, abusive, or obscene calls
- Engaging in fraud, phishing, or social engineering schemes
- Impersonating another person, business, or government entity
- Conducting any activity that violates local, state, national, or international law
Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Robocalling or automated dialing of any kind
- Bulk unsolicited calls or telemarketing without proper authorization and consent
- Using the service to distribute pre-recorded messages without recipient consent
- Violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, or equivalent regulations in any jurisdiction
Service Abuse
- Attempting to circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, or security measures
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the service without written authorization
- Interfering with or disrupting the service infrastructure, servers, or networks
- Exploiting the service for traffic pumping, toll fraud, or artificial inflation of traffic
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse free credits or promotional offers
- Using the service as a gateway to connect to premium-rate numbers for profit
Regulatory Violations
- Violating FCC regulations or equivalent telecommunications authority rules in any jurisdiction
- Calling numbers on national or international Do Not Call registries without proper exemption
- Failing to comply with caller ID requirements or spoofing caller identification
- Using the service to circumvent call-blocking or call-labeling technologies
Compliance
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in both the originating and destination jurisdictions, including but not limited to:
- Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) — United States
- Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules — United States
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — European Union
- Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) — United Kingdom
- Applicable telecommunications regulations in all other jurisdictions where calls are placed or received
Monitoring and Enforcement
UseCaller actively monitors for policy violations. Our monitoring includes:
- Automated detection of unusual calling patterns (high volume, short duration, rapid sequential calls)
- Analysis of call destinations and patterns for indicators of fraud or abuse
- Review of reports submitted by call recipients and carriers
- Cooperation with Twilio's trust and safety team for carrier-level compliance
When a violation is detected or reported, we may take any of the following actions at our sole discretion:
- Issue a warning and request immediate corrective action
- Temporarily suspend calling capabilities pending investigation
- Permanently terminate the account without refund of remaining credits
- Forfeit any remaining credit balance
- Report the activity to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Cooperate with legal proceedings related to the violation
Emergency Services
UseCaller is NOT designed to support or place emergency calls to emergency services (e.g., 911, 112, 999). Do not rely on this service for emergency communications. Always use a traditional phone line or mobile phone for emergencies.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of the UseCaller service, please report it immediately:

- Subject line: "AUP Violation Report"
- Include as much detail as possible: date, time, phone number involved, and nature of the violation
We review all reports promptly and take appropriate action within 24–48 hours.
Relationship to Terms of Service
This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into and supplements our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the more restrictive provision shall apply. Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the service. Continued use of UseCaller after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
