Browser Compatibility

UseCaller works in modern web browsers that support WebRTC (the technology behind browser-based calls).

Supported Browsers

• Google Chrome (recommended) — Desktop and Android
• Microsoft Edge — Desktop
• Firefox — Desktop
• Safari — macOS and iOS (Safari 14.1+)
• Brave, Opera, Vivaldi — Desktop (Chromium-based)

Not Supported

• Internet Explorer
• Very old browser versions (pre-2020)
• Some in-app browsers (e.g., opening links inside Instagram or Facebook)

Troubleshooting

If you see a compatibility warning, try:

1. Updating your browser to the latest version.
2. Opening UseCaller directly in Chrome or Safari (not from within another app).
3. Checking that your browser has permission to access the microphone.
